About Me
My passion for the written word was incubated in the beautiful mountain country of Jackson Hole--from a young age, I read omnivorously and wrote prodigiously, firm in my conviction that the writing life was for me. After that, I made my home in Seattle for a number of years, where I obtained a Master's of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and involved myself fully in the local literary community through teaching and collaboration. However, the magnetic pull of the mountains drew me back in, and I spent several years bouncing back and forth between the Tetons and Cascades before settling once more in Seattle, WA.
Currently, I work as a content and UX writer on education-related products. Strings? I have them. Prior hats worn include author, editor, project manager, and content writer for a variety of publications in print and on the web, including magazines that focus on architecture, art, and design. Whether it's finding the perfect voice for an app, fictional character, brand, design project, or organization, I am constantly energized by new topics and opportunities to learn. I bring rigorous attention-to-detail, professionalism, and boatloads of creative energy to each and every project.
